Playful Escapism  

This project gave me the opportunity to work with Manchester United’s Lockdown Banners and use the MUFC Pillars as a foundation to make samples. It aimed to creatively repurpose the obsolete synthetics into new materials within a defined space. The direction that I took was by implementing organic forms and bright color’s as a means of escapism, like how football was used to escape reality during the pandemic.
